Great stuff Frank! Enjoyed that very much. I assume this something you presented at your Church? A part of a series too? Anyway, well done.

Hey Frank!

I am watching the "Down in Yon Forest" DVD as I write this and realized just now that it was you playing the cello and sitar all along...and who you are... almost near the end! I thought your voice sounded very familiar because you sound very much like Kemper. I was like "Hey...that's the lead singer of Atomic Opera!!! LOVE ATOMIC OPERA and just ordered "Gospel Cola" from Amazon last night. (Had it many years ago but the CD disappeared.)

God Bless You. Happy to have found your website. Keep making music for God!!

Sounds fun! I was in a signed, touring Christian rock band for about ten years or so. For the last seven years I've been playing in clubs ect. Just got back in Church about a year ago. Crosspoint west green is my family's home Church. I have the first two weekends in November off. I could make the Nov 3rd or 10th Thursday evening rehearsal and see if I can cut it with you guys . : )

I love that churches are starting to recognize that we have dumbed it down too much. This is a good start.

Frank,

This is a great list. The only other thing I can think of is a children's sermon, which we usually did somewhere near the beginning of the service and then the children were dismissed to Sunday school or a nursery.
I never thought about it but my dad included all of the elements listed in his services, except we'd have communion once a month and he usually substituted a similar traditional Irish blessing for the Aaronic blessing:
"May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you
In the Palm of His hand. Amen."
I cry as I write that. Next Sunday he will have been gone 4 years. Hard to believe, I'm so blessed to have had a father who modeled the love of Christ so beautifully.
